Headquartered in Paducah, Kentucky, Window World of Paducah is one of over 200 locations of Window World, Inc. Owned and operated by Mike Troutt, Window World of Paducah serves many counties in Kentucky and Illinois including Ballard, Caldwell, Calloway, Carlisle, Crittenden, Fulton, and more.
However, to be truly successful, Troutt believes that by supporting the communities surrounding him is the way to go.
Throughout the year, the Window World of Paducah team is always involved in the area’s events. The team is either holding fundraisers of their own, helping aid in them, or involved with events for organizations across the region.
“We care about our communities,” said Troutt. “Our products aren’t what make us. We believe our work goes farther than providing exterior solutions and much of our story is linked to our community involvement. We strive to give back and bring positive change through our affiliation with many non-profit entities.”
St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital is just one of the many non-profit entities Window World of Paducah supports year-round.
“We are grateful for the impact we’ve been able to make for the children and their families,” said Troutt.
Since 2008, Window World Cares has raised over $9.7 million benefiting the hospital’s research. In 2010, Window World Cares received the St. Jude’s ‘New Corporate Partner of the Year’ award for excellence and dedication in fundraising. In the following years, Window World has only continued to provide support in any way possible.
After the Western Kentucky area was devastated on the night of December 10, 2021, by a historic supercell, the team at Window World of Paducah jumped into action hours after, gathering donations and setting up drop-off locations wherever needed.
Along with this, Window World of Paducah is an active supporter of Veterans Airlift Command – which helps provides air transportation for wounded warriors and their families for medical and other compassionate purposes.
“We also stay active in the local interior design and home renovations community, sponsoring local shows and expos when possible,” said Troutt. “We’ve also implemented ‘Food Truck Fridays’.”
Food Truck Fridays are just another way of Window World of Paducah supporting non-profits in the area. In March, Community Kitchen of Paducah was the charity selected. During May, awareness will be brought to the ‘Books for Hope’ non-profit. Not only does Food Truck Friday support non-profits and bring awareness, it also spotlights the efforts the area’s local food vendors give in addition.
