Recently, the Lakes of Paducah transferred ownership to Arcadia Communities. The new owners are in the process of constructing additional apartments, a large fitness center, more activity areas, and a memory care unit. It is easy to see why the Lakes of Paducah is a community, not a facility.
“Growth for our community means more opportunities and that is exactly what Arcadia has provided to the Lakes of Paducah. Arcadia has opened the door to new possibilities, all while allowing us to keep the ‘Lakes Living’ culture we have maintained since the day we opened our doors,” says Bailey Porter, Activities Director.
During these abnormal times, the Lakes of Paducah has responded with creativity and innovation. The passionate staff have developed activities that offer their residents socialization and physical activity all while keeping them safe and healthy. They have also worked to keep the community involved, hosting raffles, drive-by parades, clothing drives and fun competitions such as the Gingerbread House Competition that was held in December.
