“Each person that gives me the honor to go on this journey with them, I want them to know that I work for them. This is their journey and I am there to facilitate the process,” said Patsy Pierce. “I want to make it as enjoyable and stress-free as possible.”
Patsy is a realtor with Keller Williams Experience Realty and has been helping individuals for almost a year and a half.
“I got my license August 6, 2021, the day before my 29th birthday. My cousin has been a realtor since before I was born and I always thought that it would be a good career,” said Pierce. “My only regret is not getting my license sooner.”
A big perk of being a realtor for Patsy is getting to craft individual experiences for each client. Purchasing or selling is one of life’s biggest decisions.
“There are always ups and downs but getting to walk with clients through every step is extremely rewarding. Everyone usually talks about the flexibility of making your own schedule, but in reality your clients are the ones that you are working for so in turn they are who your schedule should be made for,” said Pierce.
Patsy believes in the work life balance, however, she wants her clients to always know that they are very important and will always remain a top priority during the process.
“Since becoming a realtor I have gotten to work with some amazing clients as well as with other realtors. Everyone has been supportive and inviting into this career and I have no question that I am exactly where I’m supposed to be career wise,” said Pierce.
Outside of work, Patsy prioritizes training and working out, traveling with friends to new hiking trails, concerts, and new places in general. However, family remains prominent – no matter the size.
“When it comes to family, my mom is my biggest supporter. My goal is to be able to provide for her as she has done for me,” said Pierce. “I’m an only child. My grandparents died before I was born and my biological father passed away, so my mom is everything and more.”
Being a realtor, there are hardships, but Patsy always puts her clients first during tough times.
“Market changes are always going to happen and clients usually get overwhelmed, so always make sure you are keeping up with your market and ensuring that you are consistently communicating with your clients so they don’t feel scared, overwhelmed, or confused,” said Pierce. “Being available when your clients need you to be can be challenging at times, but making sure to time block and keep a good schedule can help you stay organized to ensure that you are giving your clients the time they need.”
Patsy is a prime example of why having a realtor you’re comfortable with is so important. Buying and selling can be an extremely stressful process if you choose to work with someone you’re not comfortable with.
“Working with a realtor that you feel comfortable with can make the process easier and more enjoyable. Communication is key and the more comfortable you feel, the better it will be,” said Pierce. “I want my clients to know that there is never a dumb question. I am here to make the process easy and fun.”
Patsy also takes her spare time to dedicate hours to her community, creating relationships, and establishing positive roots. She has been a member of the Paducah Professional Women for over 12 years, and committee head for over five years. Patsy has also been with the Charity League of Paducah for three years and has been on the board for two. Along with this, she is a Kiwanis member, chamber connector for Paducah Area Chamber of Commerce, and volunteers with Beautiful Paducah.
