Kwame remembers listening to stories from his wife and sister, who are both registered nurses, about the challenges they faced caring for people. The stories would often consist of senior abuse and senior neglect. In 2016, Kwame had the heart and the vision to create something that he felt would make a positive impact. Even during trying times, Kwame was dedicated to caring for Black Pearl Home Care’s many clients and staff members alike. “During the pandemic, I didn’t lay anyone off. I made sure that our staff had somewhere to go and things to do so they could take care of their families. We have a lot of people wanting to join our team because of the leadership and loyalty our company has established,” says Kwame.
