  1. 1) Are vitamins safe? Yes, but you have to be mindful if you take prescription medications. There could be interactions. Example: If you take blood thinners, there are natural products that may also thin your blood such as fish oil, Vitamin E, and turmeric. 
  1. 2) What is the difference between probiotics and digestive enzymes? Enzymes are active but non-living molecules; probiotics are living organisms/bacteria. Enzymes expertly split foods into absorbable nutrients, but that’s all they do. Human-adapted probiotics live in the gut for up to two weeks, eat, multiply, and fight other microbes. As probiotics and digestive enzymes are different things and perform different jobs, it is absolutely fine to take them together.
  1. 3) I want to get off my medicine. Can I do that? It is never recommended that you stop taking your prescription medications. As herbs and supplements are derived from plants, they can be safe and can help your overall health. However, if you wish to take a more natural approach to your health, you MUST speak with your doctor and share your wishes and concerns. You should NEVER stop your medication. There are ways to reduce or stop taking prescriptions, but you should speak with your medical professional and work with them to honor your wishes. 
  1. 4) Do essential oils work? In short, yes! Essential oils are derived from plants, trees, bushes, flowers, and fruits. They have natural qualities that may improve your health and mood. Most people think that essential oils do not work because they work differently than prescription medications. The reason most people feel essential oils do not work is because they don’t use the essential oils consistently, use enough of them, or give them a long enough time period to work. For those of us who love using essential oils, we know they do work!
  1. 5) How long does it take vitamins, supplements, herbs to work? Natural products take longer than prescription medications. On average, one can see changes between 3 to 6 weeks after they begin a supplemental routine.
