The arrival of spring welcomes new beginnings and First Baptist Paducah’s annual “Spring Fling,” an event that brings together and inspires women of all ages. Debuting more than 20 years ago, the event presents an influential Christian speaker to Paducah every year. Past speakers including Beth Moore, Jen Hatmaker, Kelly Minter, Christy Nockells, Margaret Feinberg and Rebekah Lyons just to name a few. This year, First Baptist Paducah presents “Spring Fling: Inspire to Influence” with featured speaker Pam Tebow, mother of famed NFL player, Tim Tebow.
Pam is best known for her son’s accomplishments but is quickly making a name for herself as she encourages people of all ages to trust the Lord with all their hearts for all their lives, and use the incredible influence God has given them to eternally impact their world. As someone who connects with women both young and old, Pam was deemed a perfect fit for this year’s Spring Fling event.
First Baptist Paducah’s Spring Fling event is a night for women from all stages of life to come together and hear a common message. The event started as an outreach effort for First Baptist Paducah when a former pastor’s wife wanted to develop an event that sought community and offered a rejuvenating message as winter transitioned into spring.
“It’s a night that brings everyone together. I love that it is held in the spring, the perfect time to rejuvenate us all. We cannot wait to bring women together to speak about a topic that is so relevant to today’s society. People are connected more than ever through social media, yet lack important social needs and bonds. We always to try to come up with a speaker that can speak to both the younger crowd and the older crowd and it’s not such an easy feat, but when we found Pam, we knew she would do an amazing job at bridging the generational gap,” says Laura Grumley, marketing coordinator for the First Baptist Spring Fling event and past attendee.
The event will begin with a social hour where heavy hors d’oeuvres will be served, door prizes will be given away and all attendees are encouraged to mix and mingle. Worship will be led by Kendra Johnson and shortly afterward, keynote speaker, Pam Tebow, will present on the topic of “Inspire to Influence.” 
“Spring Fling: Inspire to Influence” is open to the public. The event takes place Friday, April 12, 2019, at 6 p.m. Tickets are $28 and go on sale Monday, March 11. 500 tickets are available.
