Shimmy Mob – Dancing for Merryman House!

Shimmy Mob is an annual event creating awareness of emotional abuse and domestic violence. Since 2011, on World Belly Dance Day, teams of belly dancers around the world dance the same dance, wearing the same Shimmy Mob t-shirt in honor of survivors. Each team chooses a local domestic violence organization to support and raise funds for — Team Paducah is dancing for Merryman House.
There will be 3 shows in 3 locations: 11:30 am McCracken Co Public Library (weather permitting outside in the garden). 12:30 pm Beads and Rugs, 626 Broadway. 1:30 pm Etcetera Coffeehouse, 320 N 6th St.
