Neartown’s Night of a Thousand Laughs

Neartown Inc. is having their first fundraiser, A Night of a Thousand Laughs, to start their women’s short term residential drug and alcohol treatment program.
Neartown Inc., a nonprofit drug and alcohol treatment program in Calloway Co., is having their first fundraiser to start their women’s short-term residential treatment program. The event is called, A Night of a Thousand Laughs. It will be held at The For Center on February 24th from 6 to 9 pm.
The event will be held at The For Center, located at 2314 Brinn Road in Murray, Kentucky. The event will consist of a meal prepared by Carr’s out of Mayfield, music by Paducah’s Callon B and The Hive, comedy by Murray’s Jamaal Gardner, and Neartown’s executive director will cast the vision for the women’s program. Tickets for the event are $125 and will be on sale until February 10th.
Neartown is an area leader in residential drug and alcohol treatment for men. Executive Director Jereme Rose states, “A women’s short-term residential program is the next step in fulfilling Neartown’s overall vision. We will use the same person centered, loving approach that makes Neartown’s current programs second to none.” Neartown serves the entire western region as well as a portion of the Pennyrile region of the state.
